Its All About The HISTORY.
Posted by MrSaints in Horrible Critics, Spotlight Sunday, 13 September 2009 18:54 2 Comments
What can I say? History is just one darn good subject to learn (: If you read my previous Tweet about the thousands that rallied against Obama as he was some what, “leading the United States down the road to socialism”. Then you would know what I’m talking about. Not too long ago, in my history class, we studied about the issues Franklin D. Roosevelt faced, which included those that felt the “New Deal” was doing too much or too little, as well as the dispute in the Supreme Court. I do recall reading a part of the textbook that stated people referring FDR to communist leaders of the 1930s, Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini. Well due to the fact, capitalism is ruling the 21st Century and this decade at the moment, there’s perhaps no chance to refer to Kim Jong-Il or any other communist leaders, so what?
Lois Calzone from Maryland carried a poster showing Obama painted as Batman character “the Joker” with the captions “Un-American” and “cap and traitor.
Yes guys. Lets refer to the Batman character Joker.
As you can clearly see, History is repeating itself once more, and Obama is now remarked as being “Un-American” and to some degree a “Traitor”. For all I know, whatever you do, there’s always someone totally unsatisfied, at this rate nothing will be fixed.
Reading on, I have noticed that once again… Obama, for the Democrats is faced with the same questions Roosevelt faced. Where did you get the money from?
“He is a traitor. He’s either a Marxist or a Communist and we’re not. He’s totally un-American,” Calzone told AFP.
“I think Saudi Arabia is behind him. Where did he get all that money to fund his campaign?” she said.
Clearly there’s no need for such ludicrous and ridiculous statement which I do believe most people woud agree. No offense intended anyhow. And now…
“Abortion is not healthcare,” read one sign. Another, held aloft by an immigrant from Ukraine, said: “I had enough of socialism in the USSR.”
Woah… where did that came from? So yea, I find this rally totally pointless and its perhaps a complete replay of what happened in the 1930s except it wasn’t the “New Deal coming your way”, its “YES WE CAN”.
On a side note, thank you whoever was the one that voted 1 star for the “Do Not Ask Me” post (: It was real nice of you *cough I know who you are*. Also, I’ll try and update some posts when i get the time, perhaps try to add the pictures for the Packet Sector CMS posts back…. manually. Besides that, I’ll leave it to the automated Mr.Aerosol Digest to continuosly digest all those Lifestream updates.
P.S. Check out my uber cool sexy iPod Touch Skin (Whitoken) which took me almost a good 2 hours to setup successfully, yea… http://twitpic.com/hi0ch
And obviously, the credits to the credits to the research on this post, a good history lesson with Mr.Kinvig and…
Twitter.com (@Braiden, for tweeting about it and catching my attention). And not to forget, the main source, Yahoo! News. I believe I have attributed enough (:

Firstly, I would like to acknownledge Cris (aka CrisTheWind), original founder of Packet Sector and The Packet Sector Networks (etc – despite the fact it wasn’t open for long), for making this CMS possible today
Alongside with me he was helping out with the SVN commits and working with me to make this a great CMS which was unfortunetly never used
This was a project I worked on during my times with FrozoneCMS as well as the planning of upcoming Serenade 2.0. It helped me a lot with practicing and putting into action variou jQuery techniques and skills as well as PHP (despite the fact I wasted around $5 for Assembla D:).
Just recently I have posted a small video (which didn’t turn out so good thanks to the poor render) taking a sneak peak around the CMS. You can check it out on YouTube, I have embedded the video below, enjoy.
Now instead of talking a whole lot of crap and turning your attention away I’ll just go brief to the point. When Cris and I first planned out this CMS, it seemed like a lot of work and back then I wasn’t really strong and farmilliar with OOP. One of the main guidelines on the construction of this OdinMS CMS was that it was to be attractive, User-Friendly, Browser Compatible as well as further capabilities with 3rd Party systems like SHOUTcast. The CMS is an almost full-fledged ajax powered site (including registration + login). Alongside with an extensive control panel (several control panel to be precise) as well multiple functions and features to help accessibility.
For security, the class dealt with proper error handling as well as potential SSL capabilities and a complete visitor tracking system with Geo Location. So, instead of this constant talk, I’ll just let the pictures do the talking, enjoy!

A whole new level of HABBO.

Hi there! I do apologize for the high use of profanity in my previous blog entry. Now I will be talking about something really really interesting. Yes, Habbo Hotel. Except this is not really Habbo Hotel, in my opinion, its safe to call it, Habbo Reality due to its completely modified gaming experience.
To start with, Habbo Roleplay (Basically the name of it currently) or otherwise known as Otaku Hotel from the creators network Otaku-Studios.com, is a whole new level to Habbo. As most of us know, during registration in Habbo Hotel, we may put any name we want, here at HabboRP, they take on a strict policy to
make use of realistic names (primarily your own name!), so mine is Ian-Li. Besides that, the basic character dressing is remains natural.
Additional features in this roleplay Habbo (which I do believe was adapted from GTA:SA) are jobs, taxis and even properties! As this game is still in its BETA period, most features are not yet completed, which were hinted at (e.g. Building, Stock Exchange).
This Habbo features hundreds of portals and is the ultimate online virtual reality. The complete HabboRP is supposedly manually created and includes shops, workplaces and even flats, houses and apartments.
As like humans, we require the necessity of sleeping and eating, and like HabboRP, our Habbos require enough rest and a proper diet! Locations such as Banks and Hospitals are present as well for us to manage our financial needs or perhaps get a healing or surgery after a harsh assault by another Habbo.
And only just recently, the developers had announced a brand new VIP system as well as Boxing?
This is the ultimate Habbo experience, and I strongly do recommend users to try this out to escape from the standard boring old Habbo experience of visiting other users room and making rooms or mazes.
One thing that fascinates me too, is that, there is no easy way out! This is almost like the World itself. The jobs present are realistic in function as well as in wage. YOU CAN GET HUNGRY. YOU CAN GET SICK. YOU CAN GET TIRED. And YOU WILL HAVE TO walk to your destination or go shopping in the Habbo world.
Hmmm…. There’s a picture of me getting attacked, what a coincidence, cause I wasn’t expecting it. Anyways, more pictures!
The day, it went all wrong.

Well for those that small my Twitter update the other day about GIS website getting hacked. Really, it wasn’t me.
I have no idea or no relationship to what had happened but it sure was funny. According to what I see in the source, I’m guessing the titles for pages and sections are store on the database and easily configured through an admincp I presume?
Well that is a good way of management I guess, but lols. I’m sure going to love keeping this on my blog (left).
It was really disgraceful though. Mainly because they hired professionals to design the website and also because it was coded in ASP. ASP in my opinion is a great web language to be coding websites such as GIS’ one in. Security wise, tends to be very invulnerable (still exploitable though!). Surprisingly, this one was exploited right after it came out of beta.
As this blog is part of the private domain and we do not want to embarass any “organization” or “person” in particular, I attempted to remove any specifics, thus as a disclaimer I am not liable to any sort of punishment or complains as this may refer to almost anything since the abbreviation GIS can refer to anything. In addition to this, there is no direct linking to the specific Twitter update available on this post.
Seems like GIS is a prime target from hackers seeing as their MOODLE (Content Management System) had been crashed in the past and even rolled back. Apparently this time they fixed their website within a period of 24 hours.
Time to do something about this and pump up the security! I don’t blame Moodle however, it is exploitable
And there are many scripts out there to do the job.
